I should have put out an update much earlier today, I apologize. But I actually worked today! And I thought Liz herself might actually post a blog, but she actually relaxed!

Liz is in the biggest hospital room I’ve ever seen – it could fit a 20 person banquet table and chairs, with room to spare…and there is a cubby/desk literally carved into the wall right by the window where I could sit and work and still be with Liz. Maybe it’s because we paid our full out of pocket maximum this year? Maybe she got VIP because the hospital is also my employer? Maybe just luck.

All that room has given Liz plenty of opportunity to walk some laps, and she’s enjoyed that each time. Lots of pain getting out of and back into bed but frankly she’s 30 hours post surgery so that’s to be expected!

We keep hearing she is going to be sent home tomorrow – it seems crazy but she’s recovering fast!
