Update to Liz’s care today…

She is currently taking on extra fluids and about to receive a third unit of blood. At 12:15 pm she will get a flex sigmoidoscopy which should tell her care team if there is any bleeding coming from something other than the tumor. She has to be put under for this procedure so as long as she wakes up and can be alert enough to get in the right “pose” she will do her first radiation treatment around 4:00 this afternoon.

Makes me sad that she can’t come to the gym fundraiser tonight. I know she wants to be there with you all…
