Well, I’d be ok if a day like today never happened again. Here’s the cliff’s notes version…

Early afternoon Liz had a BM and there was a lot of blood in her stool. WAY more than usual. But she felt fine so we didn’t necessarily think too much of it…well a couple hours later, she’s had 3 more BMs, all just as bloody as the first, and she’s feeling clammy, weak, and light headed. We talk to someone on her care team and they say to go to the hospital. We went to the ER, she was evaluated and lost a fair amount of blood but at this point not enough to need a transfusion. She is stable but they are keeping her in the hospital overnight for observation.

My heart hurts. I just want her to be ok. Hopefully good news tomorrow. Thank you for all the continued love and support.
